‘Passion is lifted from the earth itself by the muddy hands of the young; it travels along grass-stained sleeves to the heart… (let us) return to these simple yet enchanted places (and see) how the seasons move and the world turns…’ – R. Louv 2005

Hi Lauren , Thank you for running the event on Sunday – we had a really great time, and having lost our arrow by getting too good at sending it far away, are now into arrow production ourselves! Both our kids had fun, and we will be keeping a watch for the Fire and Broomstick event as that sounds fun.M. Cook, mother
In Forest School today I decided to let the kids have an opportunity to play with mud , and make Hedgehogs... They all recoiled, saying it looked 'disgusting'!, but they all eventually joined in, and had a FANTASTIC time... We couldn't get them to stop... Success!H. Just a little email to say a big thanks for entertaining Isaac for many hours over the past year. I hope Wildwood goes from strength to strength, continue to be as enthusiastic/mad (!) as you have been - you are fab.Helen (parent)
Our Forest School project has really gained momentum and nearly all of our children have had the chance to go to the woods. The children are always playing forest school in the nursery and always talking about their experiences. It's really had an impact on the children. In July we are delivering a summary of our project and the impact on language development to interested schools at the University.D Malley (Level 3 Forest School Practitioner Award) Lord street Nursery School, Derby
