Wild Wood Activities Forest School Project Package
Why A Forest School programme package?
This gives you the opportunity to buy a block of sessions for a greatly reduced price than a one-off taster session (please see Forest School taster information).
How long is the programme?
The package outlined here is a 6 session programme which is ideally delivered over six weeks, however, there is flexibility in the delivery schedule, please contact us to discuss. Session length is either a full day (the ideal option) or a half day.
How large can the group be?
An ideal size for a Forest School session is around 12- 15 participants (around half a class size). Therefore, should you wish, half the class could access a morning session and half the afternoon session. Alternatively, a selected group of children could access a full day session (please contact Lauren at Wild Wood activities to discuss).
What will participants do during the programme?
Take part in team building, trust and problem solving games and activitiesabout survival and link this to shelter building, collecting materials and minimal impact.tree identificationstorytelling and creative performanceabout being safe in the outdoors the opportunity to experience a campfire and simple campfire cookingsimple hand tools to create items to take home
What does the programme include?
An experienced, qualified and fully insured Wild Wood Activities leaderplanned programme tailored to meet your requirements
All tools and equipment for use during the sessions(unless specific item is requested)site (if using a site already assessed by Wild Wood Activities or school grounds)for the participants at the end of the programme

How much does a programme cost?
A six session programme within a 10 mile radius of Sheffield S8 is £995.
There is a fuel surcharge outside of this zone (10-20 miles outside add £40 per programme, 20-25 miles, add £90).
How much does site location cost?
There is a one-off fee for site location and risk assessment of £195 for any site not already used by Wild Wood Activities (unless school grounds-there must be some woodland). Please contact to discuss.
